Valentines Door Hanger 

What you will need:

1. NEW Valentines Shape Heart!

2. Pink or Red craft paint, also black

3. Burlap

4. Staple gun

5. Paint brush (small so you can write/paint), and a bristle brush

Step 1:

Paint the heart pink or red, allow to dry. 

Step 2:

I chose to paint in my own handwriting, if you don't like yours google some fonts in the letters you are using and use them as a guide.  Surprisingly this helps a lot, but remember perfection isn't everything, especially on the pieces that I distress, I like them to look imperfect. 

                      Step 3:
Next use the dry bristle brush to distress over the heart.  Dip the brush in black paint and then rub some off on a paper towel, you want to start with less and then build. You can always add.  

    Step 4:

 With the staple gun staple burlap to the back of the heart.  You don't have to worry about making it exactly straight because when you hang it with the burlap it is easy to adjust.
